Pirate Ball will include music on the Main Stage including Scott Jeffers at 5:30 PM and Chancer’s Hooley at 8:00 PM, opening of the mermaid stage, sword fighting, a dinner, a walk-around treasure map contest, crowning of the “Pirate King”, and wonderful drinks including mead, rum, and beer.
This will be a social engagement for our pirates and costumes will be encouraged (if not expected). Best dressed pirates will be asked to compete in our Pirate costume contest for prizes.
The Compass Stage will be full of fun games, contests and music throughout the weekend. Be sure to see the costume contest for adults at 6:45 PM. This is a much anticipated and fought over award at Pirate Fest.
Don your best pirate attire and join us for a great evening of piracy that will be long remembered!

The Pirate’s Festival (Saturday) is for everyone (especially kids and families). Join us for a whole day o’ pirate ruckus! Fer th’e lads n ladies (kids) thar gunna be bounce houses, arts n’ crafts, archery, contests, mermaids, treasure hunts ‘n more. Fer th’ older band ‘o pirates (adults) thar gunna be physical feats ‘o strength so ye can show up ye buckos, cardboard boat watching (or racing), plenty of drinkin’ of mead, rum and ale, walking around in costume, sword fighting, archery, mermaid stage, compass stage and more!
This year’s event includes three stages of entertainment to include the Mermaid Stage, the Compass Stage and the Main Stage. The bands for the Main Stage include:

2:30 – 4:30 pm Ponder The Albatross
5:00 – 7:00 pm Windover Tide

The event will feature a Cardboard Regatta (boat race) so get out ye boat makin’ skills ‘n build a cardboard ship. Brin’ ye team to EB Rains on Saturday, September 15 ‘n race towards th’ finish fer a chance to win prizes ‘n fame. Beware ye scurvy pirates, there will be tests (cannonballs, skeletons, and other crazy bits) to make the challenge even more challenging!
We are happy that Society of Creative Anachronism will join us for a second year with archery, sword fighting demos and more! We have also welcomed over 75 vendors to join us in this one of a kind spectacular event!
Along with great food options at Pirate Festival, we will have great drinks. Delicious beer and rum will be available.
Proceeds from the bar benefit the Northglenn Community Foundation.
