School Supplies Needed

A school supply drive “Fill a Backpack 2017” will begin soon for local families in need.  Supplies will be given to “A Precious Child” for distribution.  The Northglenn Community Foundation (NCF) is sponsoring a collection effort that will begin July 1 – 31st.  Collection poly-carts will be in the front of the Northglenn Recreation Center, Police Department and City Hall for drop off of these much-needed supplies. Items can be donated inside backpacks, individually or in bulk.  Distribution of supplies will be made to students before the start of school in August.

Your support will help a child that is poverty-stricken, homeless or facing a huge life challenge and without access to basic essentials be prepared for school. Needed school supplies include: backpacks, large erasers, glue sticks, bottled glue, scissors, crayons, markers, colored pencils, pencils, highlighters,  rulers, folders , loose leaf paper, spiral notebooks, and composition notebooks.
